Why Does Manufacturing Matter?

Competing systems, such as poured-in-place, are manufactured on
site.  All raw materials are mixed, leveled and compacted by installers
on location. Many factors that occur during the installation will affect the
long-term performance of field applied systems. Some of these factors
include the ambient temperature, humidity, time of day, and skill of the installer.

Additionally, it is extremely difficult to level a poured-in-place system to precise
thicknesses over the entire playground. Once completed, it is virtually
impossible to know if the precise thickness and corresponding safety
performance was uniformly installed through the entire play area.

When you purchase a SofTILE safety surface, you are purchasing a
system that was manufactured under the strictest of process controls.
Raw materials are precisely weighed, temperatures and humidity
are computer controlled, and all mixing, leveling, and molding
are completed robotically so that each and every
SofTILE is produced under ideal conditions
and in an identical sequence.

The End Result

Traceability, Repeatability, and Reliability.
